Job summary

BD in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Intercompany Accountant to manage end-to-end intercompany processes across multiple ERP systems and drive process improvements. You will reconcile, net, and post intercompany transactions while ensuring timely month-end close.

Ideal candidates hold a BS/BA in Accounting with 5+ years of general accounting experience and strong SAP and Excel skills, with familiarity in US GAAP and IFRS within a regional/global shared service environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years in General Accounting, preferably intercompany processing.
• Experience with US GAAP and/or IFRS in a regional/global shared service.

Responsibilities

• Review intercompany transactions, post invoices across ERP systems, and reconcile accounts monthly.
• Perform intercompany netting and settlements with proper approvals and supporting documents.
• Ensure timely close activities and accruals for recurring intercompany balances.
• Monitor intercompany requests and provide status updates to stakeholders; escalate issues with root-cause analysis.
