Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a Senior Infrastructure & Operations Engineer to manage IT infrastructure across corporate offices, sales galleries and project sites in Malaysia, ensuring secure and reliable operations. The role collaborates with Singapore-based cybersecurity teams and is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Windows Server, VMware, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, firewall administration and network

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• 5-8 years' experience in infrastructure, systems administration or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, VMware, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, firewall administration, network infrastructure, and backup & disaster recovery.
• Exposure to XDR, SOC, Mimecast or endpoint security solutions is an advantage.
• Experience managing vendors and service providers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows servers, virtual machines, storage and backup systems.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Manage network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, VLANs and Wi-Fi.
• Monitor system performance, capacity and availability.
• Support data centre and shared services operations.
• Support XDR, SOC, endpoint protection and email security platforms.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and patch management activities.
• Support security incident investigation and resolution.
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades and technology implementations.
• Support new office, sales gallery and project site setups.
• Work with vendors on project delivery and operational support.
• Maintain project and technical documentation.
• Act as Level 2/3 escalation point.
• Troubleshoot server, network and infrastructure issues.
• Support end-user computing environments and business applications.
• Provide occasional on-site support at project locations.
• Manage backup and recovery processes.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery testing.

Maintain secure, stable and reliable IT operations.

Work closely with the Head of IT, Group IT and Cybersecurity teams in Singapore.

Individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Operations
