Job summary

Surban a Jurong is seeking an experienced I&C/SCADA Interface Manager for a major hydropower project at Nenggiri Project Site, Kelantan. You will own the interface register, coordinate regular interface meetings, and ensure alignment of control philosophies, I/O lists and network topologies with E&M Contractors and TNB requirements.

You will review commissioning strategies, witness key stages, and verify readiness before milestones like energisation and COD.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Proven SAT, commissioning and troubleshooting experience for I&C and SCADA on site.
• Familiar with IEC/IEEE/ISA control/SCADA standards and utility grid/SCADA requirements.
• Extensive experience in SAT and system integration across multi-vendor environments.
• Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contractual enforcement in projects.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and own I&C/SCADA interface register for all plant areas; instruct E&M contractor to resolve inconsistencies.
• Review commissioning strategy, procedures and schedules for I&C and SCADA; witness key stages.
• Review I&C/SCADA deliverables for integration: control philosophies, I/O lists, network diagrams and alarm lists.
• Prepare or review SAT procedures for I&C, PLCs and SCADA; coordinate cross-vendor tests.
• Ensure compliance with TNB grid code and contract requirements; track responses and approvals.
• Maintain updated integration drawings and documentation; certify completion of milestones and TOC/COD.
