Job summary

Hitachi Energy Malaysia is seeking an experienced HSE & Sustainability professional to join our Service organization in Malaysia. You will drive a strong HSE culture, ensure compliance with local regulations and Hitachi Energy requirements, and support continuous improvement of our HSE performance.

You will partner with business leaders, lead incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and deliver HSE training while collaborating with stakeholders to advance our sustainability objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OSH, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of HSE experience in industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE laws and regulations.
• Experience in incident investigations, risk assessments, and audits.
• Experience supporting operational and project teams on HSE programs.

Responsibilities

• Promote proactive HSE culture and guide managers and staff in daily operations.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation and Hitachi Energy standards.
• Analyze HSE data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Deliver HSE training and safety campaigns; support project teams with HSE requirements.
