Job summary

PLUS Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineering Project Manager in Selangor to lead highway construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope, budget and quality.

You will oversee day-to-day execution, lead the project team, allocate resources, and report progress to the Project Director while coordinating with Government Agencies, authorities, contractors, suppliers and local communities for smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of highway/construction experience.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and project setup.

Responsibilities

• Report to Project Director and coordinate to define objectives and deliverables.
• Lead project team and oversee day-to-day execution.
• Allocate resources and monitor utilization to optimize allocation.
• Conduct weekly progress meetings and inspect site activity for compliance.
• Maintain regular communication with Government Agencies, authorities, contractors, suppliers and communities.
• Monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Establish and monitor performance of the project team aligning with business goals.
