Job summary

Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC) in Penang seeks an experienced PCB Layout Engineer to drive major design changes and translate multi-discipline inputs into detailed PCB layouts for large assemblies.

The role involves feasibility studies, high-speed circuit layout, and collaboration with design teams to resolve packaging and electrical issues, with documentation and Gerber generation for fabrication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of high-speed PCB design and PCB stack-up is advantageous.
• Proficiency in technical report writing and presentation.
• Ability to write Perl scripts.
• Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB layout updates with major design changes.
• Translate inputs from electronics and mechanical design into PCB layouts with ~3000 components.
• Conduct layout feasibility studies for packaging, manufacturing and performance on high-complexity designs.
• Carry out component placement and high-speed circuitry with analog/digital.
