Job summary

Centific in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Hardware Validation Engineer (IC5) to own electrical and system verification of assigned subsystems, developing test plans and defining coverage criteria across proto to MP stages. You will lead bring-up, characterization, debug, and ensure documentation quality.

You will collaborate with EE design, FW, thermal, and TPM teams, drive root-cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers while traveling regionally up to 30%.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own electrical and system verification for subsystems across proto to MP stages.
• Develop high-level test plans, define test priorities and coverage.
• Oversee bring-up, characterization, and debug of prototype hardware.
• Drive root-cause analysis and file high-quality bugs with repro steps and artifacts.
• Maintain complete metadata for each test run and traceability to requirements.
• Coordinate verification status between US and regional teams; mentor junior engineers.
• Travel regionally up to 30%.
