Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced electronics design professional in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, to lead end-to-end hardware design activities. You will transform concepts into schematics, manage PCB layout and prototyping, and drive testing, debugging, and final product release with cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on hardware design experience, strong fundamentals in electronics, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals and electronic design.
• Experience with schematic design, PCB layout, troubleshooting, testing, and soldering.
• Hands-on hardware/electronic design experience.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience for Staff/Manager positions.
• DSP knowledge is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently, be creative, resourceful, disciplined, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics from concept to schematic, PCB layout, prototype, testing, debugging, and final product.
• Conduct research, testing, qualification, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare technical documents, reports, and project updates.
• Support other technical tasks as required.
