Job summary

Big Fat Smile in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer who thrives on branding, packaging, digital marketing and AI-powered creative workflows. You will own concepts from idea to execution in a fast-paced FMCG environment, collaborating with marketing and product teams.

The role requires a strong portfolio, 4–6 years’ experience, and proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Based in Johor Bahru, you’ll work on multi-brand campaigns across social media, e-commerce and retail

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, packaging, digital marketing and print design.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design assets for social media, e-commerce platforms, websites and packaging.

Big Fat Smile is a fast-growing FMCG company behind consumer brands in Home Care, Car Care and Pet Care, selling through Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, our own website, and retail stores nationwide.

We're looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who is passionate about branding, packaging, digital marketing and AI-powered creative workflows. If you enjoy turning ideas into impactful designs and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Design creative assets for: Social Media, Shopee, TikTok Shop & Lazada, Website & Digital Marketing, Product Packaging, Retail POSM, Brochures, Flyers & Event Materials
• Develop creative concepts, mood boards and campaign visuals.
• Ensure brand consistency across multiple brands and marketing channels.
• Support new product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Manage creative projects from concept to final artwork independently.
• Prepare print-ready artwork and coordinate with external printing vendors.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, Media, E-Commerce and Sales teams.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly and Midjourney to improve creative productivity and workflow efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field.
• 4–6 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, packaging, digital marketing and print design.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory and print production.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools is an advantage.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work in Johor Bahru.

Nice To Have

• Illustration skills (digital or hand-drawn).
• Motion graphics or basic animation experience.
