Job summary

Rtist in Penang is seeking a digital designer to join our design team. You will follow briefs to create high-quality artwork, animations and interactive layouts for a broad range of digital learning projects.

You will work through the full project life cycle, from concept to delivery, using Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe CC tools, collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to produce engaging e-learning experiences.

Qualifications

• A higher level degree or equivalent in a graphic design or digital design related degree.
• 1 or more years’ experience of working in a digital design agency or e-learning agency
• Experience of Developing online content using authoring tools
• Experience of working to challenging deadlines
• Used to communicating with Project Managers and clients about project progress

Responsibilities

• Create initial design concepts and prepare graphical templates using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Source images and produce graphical artwork, interactive layouts and visual assets including animations for e-learning programmes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients across multi-disciplinary teams to develop and refine the e-learning solution.

Job description

The role

An exciting opportunity to join our digital design team and work with some of the world’s largest brands. You will follow a creative brief and use high quality artwork, animations and interactive layouts to develop a broad range of digital and online learning projects.

Duties

You will work across the entire project life cycle. Starting with the creation of initial design concepts you will then use your design skills to prepare graphical templates using Photoshop and Illustrator.

On approval of your designs, you will source images, produce graphical artwork, interactive layouts and visual assets including possible animations to develop the e-learning programmes.

As the project progresses you will work with colleagues and the client to modify and develop the solution. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating effectively with colleagues in both content and technical development as you produce the e-leaning solution.

Key Skills

• Content must be created in English so a good level of English is required
• Creative design flare and experience in UI and UX design
• Experienced in use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Ability to deliver high quality visuals using a broad range of techniques including image manipulation, illustration animation and typography.
• Good understanding and application of brand/style guidelines
• keen eye for quality and exceptional attention to detail
• Good understanding of MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word) and other applications such as InDesign, XD
• Knowledge of e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, advantageous
• Use of html and java script to manipulate output.
