Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a Senior Category Manager for Indirect Materials across sites in China, Korea, and Taiwan. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract governance, and efficient PO processing to ensure timely delivery and compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in sourcing/purchasing, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin, with hands-on ERP/MS Office experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in sourcing & purchasing role.

Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing and supplier negotiation skills.
• Own strategic supplier relationships, driving cost, service levels, innovation, and contractual compliance.
• Lead quarterly and annual business reviews with key suppliers to assess performance and risks.
• Manage supplier escalations, dispute resolution, and corrective action plans.
• Drive supplier rationalization to reduce complexity and maximize leverage.
• Ensure contracts reflect negotiated pricing, terms, and risk protections.
• Create and process purchase orders based on approved requisitions and ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery times, and product availability.
• Verify supplier invoices match purchase orders and process payments.
• Provide administrative support to procurement and prepare reports on activity.
