Businesslist is seeking a Senior Associate, Finance in Kuala Lumpur to manage the general ledger, assist in monthly and yearly closings, and support audits. The role involves GL reconciliations, internal controls, and process improvements within the finance function.

The position requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and professional certification (MICPA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) either partial or full. Contract role based in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifikationen

• Must have strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin helpful.

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts per accounting standards and policies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including schedules, accruals, and adjustments.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Ensure internal control compliance and assist in regulatory reporting.
• Provide audit support with schedules and documentation.
• Participate in process improvements and system automation within GL.
