Great Eastern in Malaysia seeks a senior Java/J2EE full‑stack engineer to design, develop and maintain enterprise applications. You will implement SSO interfaces, perform architecture work, coding, and testing, and participate in code reviews and non‑functional testing.

You’ll collaborate with PMs to schedule tasks and ensure compliance with development processes and documentation. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in IT, 10+ years in Java/J2EE, 7+ years full stack, and solid

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 10+ years of Java/J2EE application development experience.
• 7+ years hands-on full stack development experience.
• Experience with Node.js, REST/SOAP, and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native development using Kubernetes, VMware TKGI/TAS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with event-driven microservices (Kafka or similar).
• Solid understanding of authentication frameworks (OIDC, OAuth, SAML2).
• Proficient in source control (BitBucket) and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for people with

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in full stack development.
