Job summary

Cisco is seeking a senior software engineer in Malaysia to design, develop and deliver automation and integration solutions for customer projects. You will leverage Python and the MEAN stack to translate requirements into scalable software, build RESTful APIs and web apps, and work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL/MySQL.

You’ll also create technical documentation and collaborate across teams. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of relevant experience, strong expertise in Python, MEAN stack, and DevOps

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Python development, automation and scripting.
• Strong experience with MEAN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, Angular and Node.js.
• Experience developing full-stack web apps and RESTful APIs.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps and SDLC.
• Strong software design, OOP and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy software, automation and integration solutions using Python and MEAN stack.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable designs and APIs.
• Build web apps with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL/MySQL databases and provide troubleshooting.
• Create technical documentation, customer collateral and knowledge transfer.
