Job summary

Cisco Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and deliver Python and MEAN-based solutions for customer projects. You will build RESTful APIs and web apps with Angular, work on MongoDB and PostgreSQL/MySQL, and support integrations of Cisco technologies.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs. Requirements include 6+ years in CS, strong Python and MEAN stack skills, and experience with Agile/DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Strong Python development and automation experience.
• Strong MEAN stack experience; full-stack web app development and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical design, optimisation and delivery for customer projects.
• Develop and deploy software, automation and integration using Python and MEAN stack.
• Translate requirements into scalable software and solution designs.
• Develop RESTful APIs and web services using Python, Node.js and Express.
• Build web applications with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL/MySQL databases.
• Assist customers with integration, troubleshooting and optimisation of Cisco tech.
• Support presales activities, solution design and proofs-of-concept.
• Create technical documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
