Job summary

AirAsia is seeking a senior full stack software engineer in Sepang to drive secure, scalable solutions integrated with internal and external apps. You will mentor engineers, shape the SDLC, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver cutting-edge software for a growing business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform services to improve reliability, scalability.
• Comfort with Node.js, React, Angular, Flask, .Net frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, coding standards, code reviews, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Mentor software engineers, propose engineering solutions to solve complex problems.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
• Drive the culture and execution of test driven development in projects.
• Work closely with QA to bring automated testing capabilities.
• Execute strategies that allow for the team’s code to be analysed, reviewed and pushed to the pipeline efficiently.
• Discover and debug issues swiftly, refactor code and automate repetitive tasks.
• Apply security, performance and scalability principles in daily decisions.
• Share and document knowledge as part of your workflow.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver complex software solutions for a growing business.
• Evangelize and drive stellar software engineering practices across the team.
• Experiment and explore new technologies and bring those insights to the team.
