Job summary

Experian is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance backend services and user-facing applications on our cloud platform. You will contribute across the full stack, build scalable microservices, robust interfaces, and reusable platform capabilities while collaborating with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive testing and CI/CD, and help ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing software delivery in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong OO design, system architecture and engineering practices.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and APIs.
• Hybrid work arrangement with in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver high-quality software solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Write clean, efficient code meeting performance and security standards.
• Drive quality with automated testing and test coverage improvements.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Investigate production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Improve engineering practices, system reliability, and development efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and guidance.
