Job summary

Vuly Trampolines Pty in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong AWS backend experience and Flutter capability to own backend features and contribute to Flutter across mobile and web. You will design scalable backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, AWS Lambda and API Gateway, and build Flutter UI.

You will collaborate with the engineering team to implement secure REST APIs, real-time features, IaC with CDK or Terraform, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions, ensuring observability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software engineering experience.
• Hands-on AWS backend with Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, Cognito, IAM.
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js backend design and APIs.
• Production Flutter apps for mobile and web.
• Solid PostgreSQL with PostGIS knowledge.
• Experience with REST APIs and real-time patterns.
• IaC experience with AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Git workflows, CI/CD, automated testing & deployment.
• Familiarity with agentic AI tools and responsible usage.
• Security-focused development and data access controls.
• Clear communicator, capable of documenting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Backend design and scalable service implementation with TS/Node.js on AWS.
• Database design, relations, queries with PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
• Develop Flutter features for mobile and web platforms.
• Build secure REST APIs and real-time interfaces.
• Manage IaC and infrastructure changes with CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, log and test with CloudWatch, Datadog and Sentry.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs and engineers; document decisions.
