Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer – AI Solutions to design and build end-to-end AI-powered applications. This onsite contract role is based in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, requiring strong backend, frontend, and data integration expertise.

You will work with cutting-edge AI tools, review AI-generated code, and ensure secure, observable deployments via CI/CD and IaC, while communicating progress, blockers, and risks clearly.

Qualifications

• Five+ years software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, data science, AI or related.
• Legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
• Delivery experience across backend services, data integration, and frontend apps.
• Proficient in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience developing AI-powered applications and integrating AI models.
• Experience using AI coding tools and agentic workflows with human review.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, security, and observability.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer – AI Solutions to build and deliver AI-powered solutions from end to end.

Requirements

Must-have:

• At least five years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, AI, or a related discipline.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Hands-on delivery experience across backend services, data integration, and frontend applications.
• Practical coding experience in both Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience developing AI-powered applications or features, including integrating AI models or services and validating their outputs.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools and agentic development workflows, including prompt and context engineering and human review of AI-generated code. Tools may include Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, security, and observability, including evaluations appropriate to AI functionality.
• Ability to independently take requirements through implementation and deployment, explain technical decisions, and communicate delivery risks clearly.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience creating reusable agent instructions, rules files, project scaffolding, or skills libraries.
• Experience selecting AI tools and models based on development needs, complexity, and security requirements.
• Applying UI/UX best practices to user-facing applications.
• Contributing to peer reviews, shared learning, and continuous engineering improvement.
