Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer - AI Solutions to design, build, and deliver AI-powered applications end-to-end from data integration to frontend.

This onsite contract role requires 5+ years' software engineering, a CS/AI degree, and hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, CI/CD, IaC, and evaluating AI tools. Visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, data science, AI, or related discipline.
• Malaysia work eligibility; visa sponsorship not available.
• Hands-on delivery experience across backend, data integration, and frontend.
• Hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building AI-powered applications and integrating AI models/services.
• Experience using AI coding tools and agentic development workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, testing, security, and observability.
• Ability to take requirements through implementation and deployment and communicate risks.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and deliver applications covering data integration, backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Build AI-powered features and integrate AI models or services into applications.
• Utilize AI coding tools and coordinate AI agents across multi-step development activities.
• Create and maintain reusable project templates, agent instructions, rules files, and skills libraries.
• Review, understand, and validate AI-generated code, taking responsibility for the final deliverable.
• Implement automated tests and evaluations to verify application behaviour and AI outputs.
• Deliver secure, observable, and maintainable applications through CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Apply UI/UX principles to develop clear, usable interfaces.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and scope risks promptly.
• Contribute to code reviews, resolve technical debt, and improve shared engineering practices.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and share practical improvements with the team.
