Job summary

Experian Asia Pacific is seeking a Software Engineer in Cyberjaya/Malaysia to design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications and services. You will build modern UIs, APIs, and database components while maintaining code quality through automated testing and CI/CD practices.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, and cross-functional teams, using AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and outcomes. Hybrid work arrangement and a discretionary bonus are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience including full stack development.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS and frontend frameworks.
• Experience with Java backend development and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with ORM such as Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and test automation.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications and services.
• Build modern user interfaces, APIs, and database components.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code and contribute to engineering quality standards.
• Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding, testing, debugging, and documentation activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support, and Consulting teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Leverage modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.
