Job summary

EPAM Systems in Malaysia is seeking a versatile Full-Stack Engineer to design and deliver end-to-end software solutions spanning backend services and modern frontend interfaces. You will work across the stack to build scalable, secure, high-performing applications with focus on reliability and security.

The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver full-stack features, integrating APIs with intuitive user experiences, and contributing to DevOps tasks

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java with Spring Boot for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Angular for building modern frontend applications.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs and event-driven systems.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, CosmosDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab) and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to write clean, testable code with JUnit/Mockito and Jest/Cypress.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Nice to have exposure to cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and DevOps tools (Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with message/event systems (Kafka) and UI frameworks (Material UI, TailwindCSS).
