Job summary

Avanade in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Consultant to lead development across front and back end, building scalable, API-driven solutions and modern user experiences for clients.

You will design architecture, mentor peers, collaborate with stakeholders, and apply CI/CD practices in Azure DevOps to deliver reliable deployments across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise Angular and Node.js applications.
• Proficiency with MSSQL databases and query optimization.
• Experience deploying cloud-native apps on Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain application code in a variety of contexts
• Use .NET and Azure ecosystem to build scalable applications which power modern framework-driven web apps.
• Design and develop responsive, scalable, secure, and high-performance user interfaces that deliver an exceptional user experience across web and mobile platforms.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical recommendations, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, provide effort estimations, identify risks, and contribute to solution architecture and technical design decisions.
• Mentor and support junior developers through knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and best practice adoption.
• Create, maintain, and review technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational support documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience in Angular and Node.js application development, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise‑grade solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including database design, performance tuning, query optimization, stored procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Functions, Storage, API Management, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, source control management (Git), automated testing, and application monitoring.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments.
• Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, scalability, and modern software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in client‑facing and multicultural environments.
