Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking an experienced engineering professional to sustain and optimize front-end test and inspection processes in wafer probing and related inspection methods. You will drive FMEA, OCAPs, and SPC to ensure process stability and quality.

You will collaborate across PI, FPD, and NPI teams, lead continuous improvement for tool uptime, drive equipment specs, and ensure conformance to ISO standards while supporting audits and ramp milestones.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronic / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 7 years in manufacturing environment.
Minimum 3 years in probing process engineering.
Strong problem solving and communication/presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Sustains and optimizes front-end test and inspection processes through advanced optical surface analysis, wafer geometry evaluation, profilometry, spectrophotometry, ellipsometry, PL measurement and defect characterization for Wafer Probing, AVI and ultrasound inspection.
Leads FMEA risk assessments to establish process controls, develops Engineering Control Plans, OCAPs and Work Instructions, and applies SPC to ensure Cp/Cpk; collaborates with PI, FPD, and NPI engineers to ensure process stability.
