Job summary

Hyppies in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a seasoned frontend engineer to own the frontend stack, shape architecture, and drive technical decisions for web apps built with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

You will translate complex financial workflows into intuitive interfaces, build reusable components, and collaborate with Europe/SEA teams. This role is full-time hybrid, based in KL, with office days Tuesday-Thursday at TRX.

What you will be doing

• Take ownership across the frontend stack - shape frontend architecture and technical decision-making
• Translate complex financial workflows into user-friendly and intuitive experiences, and building reusable components and evolve frontend tooling to improve overall performance and developer experience

Grade | Level

• Technical leadership + hands-on - you will be the first frontend engineer in the KL engineering team, it will be a frontend-focused software engineering role
• 5+ years of software testing experience > strong system design knowledge and experience, delivering from ideation through deployment and production support, knowing when/how things will break and how to avoid them from breaking

Work Arrangement

• Full time hybrid, 3 days working in office - Tuesdays to Thursdays weekly
• Office located in TRX (to be confirmed)
