Job summary

Yinson is seeking a seasoned financial accounting professional to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage month-end close, prepare financial statements, and support consolidation activities across our international operations.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in multinational accounting, strong regulatory reporting skills, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word. Experience with Prophix is a plus; our environment rewards initiative and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of financial accounting and reporting experience in a multinational organisation or Big 4 environments.
• Experience in infrastructure and/or offshore oil and gas is a plus.
• Strong analytical and regulatory reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Participate in special finance projects, adapting to evolving needs with a hands-on approach.
• Support data archiving requirements, including retention of Prophix Financial Consolidation Excel Add-in working files and consolidation documents.
• Maintain general ledger transactions in line with accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare month-end journal vouchers, financial statements, and analyses, with focus on revenue recognition and finance lease accounting.
• Support timely month-end closes and reporting to stakeholders, including budgets and board papers.
• Collaborate with group teams to gather data for consolidations and ensure consistent reporting.
• Assist in audits, statutory reporting, and tax compliance efforts.
