Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a skilled finance professional to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including timely P&L and balance sheet submissions, AR/AP and financial reporting.

The role develops and maintains forecasting models, coordinates annual audits, and enforces budgetary control with cost-saving measures, while liaising with bankers, auditors and tax agents. Mandarin proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• ACCA/CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of accounting functions including P&L and balance sheet, AR, AP and reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Control budgets and implement cost-saving measures.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents and secretaries for statutory requirements.
• Review debtors and creditors aging, reconciliation and credit risk.
• Provide training and development to department staff.
• Oversee migration of accounting system and SST implementation.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating activities in finance.
