Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the full accounts function, including monthly closings, reports, and analysis. You will liaise with auditors, bankers and authorities, review cost structures, and ensure IFRS-compliant management accounts.

The role requires a degree in accounting or a recognized professional qualification, 8+ years of accounting experience, and proficiency with computerized accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Holds a Degree in Accounting or a recognized professional accounting qualification.
• At least 8 years of experience in accounts and financial reporting.
• Familiar with computerized accounting systems and possess hands on working attitude.
• Matured personality, team player and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating full sets of the accounts function including reports and analysis.
• Responsible for handling monthly reports and analysis.
• Liaison with auditors, bankers and other finance and regulatory authorities.
• Identify stock take discrepancies and prepare stock movement control sheet.
• Review BOM cost on a quarterly basis and ensure timely closing of monthly accounts.
• Compute sales analysis, cash flow and gross profit charts; provide timely financial information.
• Identify project costing for quarterly review and ensure data integrity and security.
