Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager (Financial Reporting) to review and ensure timely management accounts and reports, while proactively leading accounting operations for regulatory and financial reporting compliance. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 8+ years of experience and at least 3 years of people management in manufacturing.

You will oversee consolidation, audits, SST matters, IFRS compliance, and month-/year-end closings, guiding staff

At least 3 years of people management experience in manufacturing.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills across business processes.

Responsibilities

Review management accounts and reports on a timely basis.
Lead accounting operations to ensure compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
Manage audit, taxation, and SST matters with auditors and tax agents.
Coordinate consolidation for multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions.
Supervise day-to-day operations of the accounts department.
Review journals and invoices for accuracy.
Ensure IFRS compliance in financial statements.
Review balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements.
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
Guide accounting staff and coordinate team activities.
