Job summary

Arrow Components (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to act as a trusted advisor to regional management and sales teams, delivering detailed monthly P&L analyses, variance and trend reviews, and actionable insights to improve performance across the business.

The role requires a 4-year degree and at least 5 years of related experience, with fluent English, advanced MS Excel modeling, and solid knowledge of GAAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a 4-year degree.
• Proficient in English with effective written and spoken communication.
• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills with MS Excel mastery.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and GAAP.
• Experience in a global or large multinational company preferred.
• HFM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted business and financial advisor to regional management and sales teams.
• Deliver detailed P&L analysis monthly to finance and regional leadership, including variance and trend analysis and insights.
• Provide comprehensive reporting on financial statements, business metrics, KPI’s, headcount and costs.
• Participate in annual planning and budgeting processes to support executive decision making.
• Create financial models to support data-driven decision making on profitability, ROWC, ROI, pricing, transactions, and terms.
• Participate in finance initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams locally and globally to complete assignments.
• Contribute improvements to processes and drive efficiency within the organization.
• Have a strong understanding of the business environment.
• Assist with internal audits and SOX audits reviewing accounting and controls.
• Support analysis and reporting on performance of multiple related units.
• Solve complex problems and recommend solutions with minimal guidance.
• Provide analytical and strategic input to management.
