Job summary

Lam Research in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia seeks a Financial Analyst to be a trusted advisor, interpreting data, modeling, and providing insights to business partners. You will own OPEX & CAPEX forecasting, budgeting, and analysis, and support closing, reporting, and decision-making in a high-visibility role.

The role requires a Finance/Accounting degree and 5+ years, with advanced Excel, dashboards, BI tools, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
5+ years of experience in finance.
Advanced Excel and data visualization.
Experience with forecasting and budgeting.
Knowledge of GAAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own forecasting of OPEX & CAPEX and budgeting cycles; provide insights and drive planning accuracy.
Support closing activities, journal entries and accruals; ensure compliance with policy.
Analyze expense variances and prepare data-driven analysis for management.
Deliver regular reports and dashboards; identify improvements in workflows.
Collaborate with Region Finance and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
