Randstad Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a Bursa Malaysia-listed property developer for a Senior Finance Manager. You will lead full-spectrum project accounting, ensure robust cash flow management, and guide financial governance across development entities.

Partner with project teams and senior management to provide strategic insights, strengthen internal controls, and drive accurate statutory reporting, budgeting, and cost control across a growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active professional certification (ACCA, CPA Australia, MICPA, or CA/MIA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with exposure to property development or construction.

About the Client

Our client is an established, Bursa Malaysia main-market listed property developer renowned for landmark township, commercial, and residential developments across Malaysia. With a robust pipeline of upcoming projects, they are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead full-spectrum project accounting, cash flow management, and financial governance.

The Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the financial and accounting operations for assigned development entities. You will partner with project teams and senior management to ensure sound financial control, accurate statutory reporting, and strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing: Lead the full spectrum of accounts, review daily/monthly journals, and deliver timely, accurate monthly management accounts, statutory financial statements, and audit schedules.

• Project Financial Management & Cash Flow: Monitor project cash flows, funding requirements, billing progress, collections, and development cost reconciliations.

• Process Improvement & Team Leadership: Coach and develop finance executives, strengthen internal control frameworks, and optimize accounting workflows for operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; active professional certification (ACCA, CPA Australia, MICPA, or CA/MIA) is highly preferred.

• Relevant Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with substantial exposure to the property development or construction sector.

• Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of MFRS, property development accounting (HDA accounts, progressive billing, project costing), corporate taxation, and financial modeling.
