Job summary

Unicomp Technology, Kuala Lumpur, seeks an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead day-to-day finance operations and partner with regional teams on international expansion projects.

Reporting to the CFO, you will manage FP&A, budgets, rolling forecasts, and statutory reporting, while guiding the integration of acquisitions and joint ventures within Group policies. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and readiness for overseas assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, incl 2–3 years in management.
• Experience in manufacturing industry, esp. industrial x-ray or semiconductor, is a plus.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, statutory reporting, governance.
• ERP implementation or finance transformation exposure is advantageous.
• Post-acquisition integration or joint venture experience is a plus.
• Fluency in Chinese preferred to liaise with HQ in China.
• Must be able to undergo overseas training or assignments, months to a year.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance operations for entities, projects, or regional initiatives.
• Support CFO on secondment assignments to acquisitions or joint ventures as needed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and local management to align financial activities with business objectives.
• Supervise and mentor finance executives/analysts within the team.
• Align acquired businesses or new JVs with Group policies, reporting standards, and governance.
• Standardise financial processes and reporting frameworks across entities.
• Contribute to ERP and finance system implementation as part of integration workstreams.
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and monthly/ quarterly reporting.
• Prepare KPI dashboards and materials for senior leadership review.
• Ensure timely statutory reporting and external audits; maintain audit-compliant policies.
• Maintain internal controls and risk management in line with Group governance.
