Job summary

RAEBUS SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee daily financial operations, budgeting, and reporting for ongoing projects.

You will manage cash flow forecasting, monitor project costs, and ensure compliance with statutory obligations across the company. The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, at least 5 years of relevant experience (construction/related industry preferred), and professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/CIMA) are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance, construction or related industry preferred.
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, cash flow forecasting and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with construction-related financial matters, contractor payments, progress claims and variation orders.
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations, accounting activities, and monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial planning, and monitor financial performance.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, contractor and consultant claims, variation orders, and project-related payments.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payment schedules, and collections to ensure cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, audit procedures and statutory obligations, liaising with external auditors and tax agents.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions and strengthen controls.
• Assist with general administrative duties, company documentation, records management, licences, and insurance renewals as required.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
