Job summary

Nolato (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Finance Executive to manage daily accounting transactions and the general ledger, ensuring timely month-end closing and accurate financial reporting.

The role supports manufacturing costing, performs reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain internal controls and compliance with MFRS/IFRS. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Experience in full-set accounting and month-end closing.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and MFRS/IFRS.
• Good Excel and ERP/accounting system skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain the General Ledger
• Prepare monthly closing and financial reports
• Perform bank, AP, AR, inventory and other account reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries, accruals and other accounting adjustments
• Monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Support manufacturing costing and analyse cost variances
• Monitor inventory and perform inventory reconciliation
• Assist in preparation of budget and forecast
• Monitor cash flow and payment activities
• Prepare reports and schedules for internal and Group reporting
