NuEnergy Holdings Berhad, listed on Bursa Malaysia, is expanding and we are hiring a Senior Finance Executive based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya. The role emphasizes accurate financial records, monthly close, and compliant reporting under MFRS and the Companies Act 2016.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• ACCA/CPA/CIMA certification is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with exposure to reporting, closing, or audit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy of financial records by ensuring accounting entries, GLs and cost centers are correctly prepared and posted.
• Support monthly and yearly closing activities, ensuring schedules, reports and reconcilations are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare financial reports, including financial statements, in compliance with MFRS and Companies Act 2016.
• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, and assist in implementing enhanced workflows, automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Provide guidance to junior team members, assisting in task review, training and day-to-day issue resolution.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and internal departments on financial and reporting matters, ensuring proper follow-up and documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned.
