Job summary

JY Development Sdn Bhd in Klang seeks a senior finance professional to oversee core funding, financing strategies and cashflow for the company and its property development projects. You will review funding needs, formulate sustainable financing plans and present recommendations to management.

The role requires strong financial modelling, Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to network with banks and financing providers domestically and internationally. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or a recognized professional qualification (MIA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in property development funding or related field.
• Proficient cashflow management and financial modelling for development projects.
• Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills for reporting and analysis.

Job description

Responsible for the core funding, financing strategies and cashflow management of the Company and its property development projects.

Key responsibilities

Review and analyse the funding needs and requirements of the Company and develop sustainable financing strategies to meet the same.

Formulation of investment strategies in line with the overall business plan of organization.

Identify suitable investment targets / assets and generate investment leads (direct and indirect) to fulfil assigned targets.

Oversee, manage and plan the overall cashflow for the Company and for each development project.

Build up networking with funding providers (including banks and other financing options) and identify business partners domestically and internationally.

Preparation of project brief, cashflow, market research report, presentation, recommendations and business proposals to the Management for decision making and where required, to external parties such as bankers, potential investors and strategic partners.

Prepare investment papers, perform financial feasibility studies (including cash-flow) and board papers.

Structure deals, business objective, corporate structure for the business venture.

Supervise due diligence and documentation to safeguard the interest of the company.

Understand the domestic and international business regulations and laws.

About you

Degree in Accounting or recognized Professional qualification, preferably member of MIA or equivalent professional accounting bodies.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in Property Development.

Proficient in cashflow management and financial modelling for property development projects.

MS Excel skills include Pivot Tables, Formula Functions, and Formatting.

MS PowerPoint skills include text, pictures, graphics, and spreadsheet tables.

Good networking with financial institutions and other financing providers and able to drive the funding and financing strategies for the Company.

Good financial and management accounting knowledge. Work independently and resourceful.

Strong supervising and team building skills.

Based in Klang, but need to be willing to travel for work, if required.
