Job summary

Exal Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced finance professional to prepare and analyse financial forecasts and budgets across the group, while monitoring cash flow and project costs. You will coordinate with banks on financing, prepare management reports, and support feasibility studies for new developments.

The role requires 5–8 years in finance within property development or construction, with strong Excel skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable management

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant finance experience in property development or construction.
• Strong understanding of project financing, development costs, cash flow planning and project financial performance.
• Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, financial modelling and management reporting.
• Experience dealing with banks and financial institutions on financing facilities is highly preferred.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Commercially minded, proactive and capable of working independently.
• Able to translate financial information into practical recommendations for Management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of corporate finance matters.
• Take ownership of assigned finance initiatives and drive them through to completion.
