Job summary

GOOD FOODIE MEDIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to own subsidiary accounting and support group consolidation as the company scales post-IPO. You will manage full set accounting for multiple entities and ensure compliance with MFRS.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, familiarity with intercompany eliminations, and openness to AI-enabled reporting tools in a lean finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Part qualified ACCA, CPA or MIA preferred, working towards full qualification
• 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to multi-entity or group consolidation strongly preferred
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin an advantage for liaising with regional stakeholders
• Meticulous, organized and able to manage multiple entities and deadlines
• Good communication skills and comfortable working in a lean, fast moving finance team

Responsibilities

• Own full set accounting for assigned subsidiaries, including reconciliations and month end closing
• Prepare accurate accounting records in compliance with MFRS and internal policy
• Prepare subsidiary level schedules and supporting workings for group consolidation, including intercompany balances and standardised chart of accounts mapping
• Perform group consolidation tasks including intercompany eliminations, consolidation adjustments and NCI computations, with increasing independence as competency develops
• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules for assigned entities
• Perform bank, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies
