Job summary

SEADLING Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager to lead full-spectrum accounting for its Malaysian operations and manage banking transactions for the Singapore parent. You will partner with leadership to scale manufacturing and support the next funding round.

You’ll oversee budgeting, tax compliance and internal controls, with experience in AutoCount, MyInvois and Excel. Willingness to travel to Semporna and robust English/Bahasa Malaysia skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• A professional qualification (ACCA, MIA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) is preferred.
• At least 5 years in finance and accounting, including ownership of a full set of accounts.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCount and advanced Excel.
• Working knowledge of Malaysia’s e-invoicing requirements and the MyInvois system.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS/MPERS, Malaysian tax and statutory compliance.
• Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Sound judgement, attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently in a small, fast-moving team.
• Willingness to travel to our Semporna site as required.
• Nice to have: cost analysis, transfer pricing, or export business exposure.

Responsibilities

• Run full-spectrum accounting for the Malaysian operating company (AutoCount).
• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and lead year-end close and audit.
• Manage daily cash flow, payments, and intercompany transactions for Malaysia and Singapore.
• Issue invoices, track ageing, and manage receivables/payables.
• Prepare annual budget, rolling forecasts, and financial modelling with Operations.
• Oversee SST, corporate tax, withholding tax, e-invoicing and transfer pricing documentation.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve finance processes and systems.
• Support investor reporting, due diligence and funding discussions.
