Job summary

SWM Environment Sdn Bhd invites applications for an Executive - Workshop and Equipment Maintenance to lead repair, maintenance, and replacement tasks according to planned schedules and SOPs. The ideal candidate holds at least a diploma or bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, with 3 years hands-on equipment repair experience, and is independent, detail-oriented and proficient with Microsoft Office.

You will monitor progress with supervisors, ensure safe, clean workplaces, prepare monthly reports,

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 years of related working experience, preferably with hands-on equipment repair experience.
Independent, detail-oriented and result oriented.
Well versed in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

Oversee changing, repairing, and maintenance works per planned schedule and SOPs.
Monitor progress with Supervisor and guide subordinates as needed.
Inspect repaired equipment (e.g., Taylor Bins, RORO Bin, GCM) for safety before handover.
Assess repair costs; prepare BER if costs are high.
Prepare relevant monthly reports.
Collaborate with Workshop and Operations to ensure smooth task execution.
Assist in ad-hoc duties as required by superior.
Maintain safe and clean workplace during repair/maintenance activities.
