Job summary

Segi Fresh, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Executive Supply Chain Analyst (Demand Planning) to supervise the team, allocate tasks, and boost capabilities in forecasting, capacity planning, and execution monitoring.

The role oversees integrated planning, alignment with DC capacity, and cross-functional coordination with suppliers, DC operations, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure optimal stock and service levels during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or demand management.
• Proven experience managing teams and overseeing multiple operational roles.
• Retail, FMCG, or e-commerce experience preferred.
• Proficiency in forecasting, planning, and inventory management systems (SAP, WMS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the Supply Chain Analyst and Network Planning Executive.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure accountability across the team.
• Develop team capabilities in demand forecasting, capacity planning, and execution monitoring.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment of demand forecasts with DC capacity, manpower, and operational constraints.
• Oversee inbound/outbound flow alignment and capacity utilization across DCs.
• Monitor and optimize ordering parameters, inventory coverage, and stock availability.
• Maintain oversight of promotional and seasonal planning to meet business objectives.
• Track and report daily/weekly KPIs across forecasting, DC utilization, and service levels.
• Identify bottlenecks, capacity gaps, and misalignments, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, DC operations, logistics, and commercial teams for seamless execution.
• Ensure real-time monitoring and proactive response during events or peak seasons.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Supply Chain, Ordering, DC Operations, Logistics, and Commercial teams.
• Drive alignment between planning and execution teams, resolving conflicts and misalignments.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between forecasting, ordering, and operational teams.
• Identify operational risks, including overcapacity, underutilization, and supply disruption.
• Develop and implement contingency plans for peak periods, promotions, and unexpected disruptions.
• Promote continuous improvement in planning processes, forecasting accuracy, and DC utilization.

Qualification & Experience Requirements
