Job summary

ELK-Desa Resources Berhad is seeking an experienced Collections professional in Malaysia to support the Collection Manager in daily operations and supervise a team of Collection Executives and Junior Executives. The role focuses on achieving call targets, prioritising cases, and handling escalations to maintain strong recovery performance across delinquency buckets.

Responsibilities include KPI monitoring, coordinating with repossession and legal teams, and preparing weekly/monthly performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in collections, credit control, or debt recovery, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in hire purchase, auto financing, or consumer lending is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with the Hire Purchase Act 1967.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight recovery deadlines.

• Coordinate with the repossession team, field visit officers, and legal administration on recovery actions for severely delinquent accounts
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for the Collection Manager, highlighting trends, risks, and recommended actions
