We are looking for a hands‑on, detail-oriented, and self‑motivated Senior Finance Executive to support the Group’s finance and accounting operations across multiple entities.
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this role plays an important part in ensuring accurate and timely accounting records, supporting month‑end closing activities, maintaining strong accounting processes, and contributing to continuous improvements within the finance function.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, resourceful and adaptable finance professional who takes ownership of assigned responsibilities, embraces challenges, and is comfortable balancing review responsibilities with operational execution. This role requires someone who is willing to step in when needed and ensure the smooth continuity of finance operations.
Handle full‑set accounting functions for assigned entities, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and financial reporting activities.
Perform month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial records.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Perform GL review and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions.
Prepare monthly management reports and financial schedules for review by the Group Finance Manager.
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.
Assist in intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and Group reporting requirements.
Ensure accounting entries are accurate, complete, and properly supported.
Support external audit and tax‑related activities, including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant stakeholders when required.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
Assist in ensuring timely completion of statutory reporting requirements such as WHT, SST and e‑Invoice submissions.
Follow and contribute to the improvement of accounting SOPs, workflows, and internal processes.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend practical solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain proper internal controls and ensure adherence to established procedures.
Support system improvements, automation initiatives, and finance‑related projects where required.
Work closely with the CFO, Group Finance Manager and finance team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Review and guide junior team members where required.
Provide support, coaching, and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capabilities.
Be hands‑on and provide operational support during periods of manpower shortage, including stepping in to perform day‑to‑day accounting tasks to ensure continuity of finance operations.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely completion with minimal supervision.
Lead by example by demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to support the wider finance team.
Support Group finance initiatives and special projects as required.
Participate in process improvement projects and other business initiatives.
Perform other finance‑related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAEW, or equivalent is advantageous.
Minimum 4–5 years of relevant audit and/ or accounting experience, preferably with exposure to full‑set accounting and multiple entities.
Good understanding of accounting principles, month‑end closing, and financial reporting processes.
Experience with General Ledger review, reconciliations, audit support, and tax‑related matters.
Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
