Job summary

HELIOS PHOTOVOLTAIC SDN. BHD. is seeking a strategic finance professional to support the Head of Corporate Liaison & Communication. The role involves research, data compilation, and presenting insights to senior management and investors to maximize shareholder value.

The candidate will contribute as an internal consultant, help shape strategic decisions, and drive branding and special projects while working closely with cross-functional teams in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Accounting or equivalent.
• 5 years of working experience in investment analysis, corporate finance and corporate planning within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrate financial acumen and the ability to analyze financial data for strategic decision-making.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in English with excellent report writing skills.
• Mature, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects independently.

Job description

Reporting to and supporting the Head of Corporate Liaison & Communication, this role involves assisting in all matters related to the formulation, execution, and completion of business strategies to maximize shareholders' value and create value for stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Conduct research, compile data, and prepare requests and presentations for internal parties (Chief Executive Officer/Deputy Chief Executive Officer and other senior management team) as well as external parties (investor relations, potential investors and advisers)

Provide support as an internal consultant, contributing information and recommendations to enhance strategic business direction and decision-making through regular presentations of findings and analysis

Implement internal branding initiatives to ensure consistent communication of the organization's brand values

Contribute to and support ad hoc and Special Projects as required

About you

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Accounting or equivalent

5 years of working experience in investment analysis, corporate finance and corporate planning within the financial services industry

Demonstrate financial acumen and the ability to analyze financial data for strategic decision-making

Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all organizational levels

Proficient in English with excellent report writing skills

Mature personality with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts

Proactive and initiative-driven, capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality

Detail-oriented and responsible, completing assignments independently and on time

Strategic and independent thinker, adept managing multiple projects simultaneously
