SkyWorld Development Berhad, a Kuala Lumpur‑based urban property developer, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on procurement, cost control, and contract administration. The role involves preparing tender documents, BQ, RFPs, and contract terms, plus cost estimation, budgeting, and VE to support value-driven decisions.

Ideally, you have a degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 4 years in related fields, with high-rise project exposure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven working experience in related fields.
• Experience in property development industry is an added advantage.
• High-rise building exposure required; 3+ years with developers in high-rise projects is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Prepare tender documents, BQ, RFPs and contract conditions.
• Assist in cost estimation, budgeting and value engineering (VE).
• Support tender evaluation, negotiation and award recommendations.
• Assist in sourcing, evaluation and appointing project consultants.
• Support in consultancy fee negotiations and agreement finalisation.
• Coordinate consultant scopes, deliverables, timelines and fee structures.
• Administer contracts including payments, variation orders (VO), and extension of time (EOT) claims.
• Monitor project cost control, progress claims, final accounts, and settlement of disputes.
• Review and verify consultants’/contractors’ claims and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Prepare contract correspondence and documentation with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Track contract deliverables and ensure timely updates to project cost reports.
• Administer and monitor consultant contracts including claims, payments, performance tracking, and deliverables.
• Support contract administration for contractors including progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place for consultant instructions and cost-related decisions.
• Assist in handling EOT claims, dispute resolution, and contract close-outs.

Prepare contract correspondence and documentation with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Track contract deliverables and ensure timely updates to project cost reports.

Compliance & Coordination:

Ensure all procurement and contract administration activities comply with company policy and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with project, finance, legal, and site teams to ensure smooth execution and reporting.

Contribute to risk analysis and recommend cost-saving or process improvement initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Possess at least a Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field.

Minimum of 4 years of proven working experience in related fields is required, Experience in property development industry is an added advantage.

High-rise building exposure required. Working with developers for at least 3 years in high-rise projects is advantage.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
