Job summary

Prefab Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced ESH Engineer to ensure conformance with ESH standards across site projects. You will implement procedures, promote safety awareness, and advise the project team on ESH practices.

The role requires a Civil/Environmental/Health & Safety engineering background, 5 years of related experience, and local GREEN BOOK certification. You will lead audits, trainings, and inductions while coordinating with authorities on safety compliance.

Qualifications

At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent preferred.
Candidate will be required to have local certification (GREEN BOOK ONLY).
Independent and willing to perform multi-tasking duties.

Responsibilities

Ensure procedures and processes are implemented in conformance to standards.
Promote awareness of project requirements and ESH practices across the project site.
Provide sound advice and guidance to the project team to support the ESH Management System.
Coordinate or conduct regular internal audits, awareness briefings, training, and induction programmes.
Assist the Person-In-Charge to comply with the Project ESH Management Plan.
Assign, coach and monitor sub-ordinates' work and performance.
Monitor monthly ESH Meetings and notify relevant authorities.
Coordinate and follow up on issues related to Tower Crane or heavy equipment.
Monitor tower crane operators’ discipline and performance.
Liaise with authorities for machinery inspection and site registration.
Monitor site security performance and enforcement.
Ensure direct workers’ basic amenities and welfare are properly attended.
