Job summary

Baker Tilly LSC seeks a motivated ESG Senior Executive to support the development and implementation of the organisation’s Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders to drive ESG practices and monitor sustainability performance.

Responsibilities include ESG maturity assessments, creating reports aligned with Bursa Malaysia requirements, developing KPIs and dashboards, and assisting clients with ESG frameworks and governance structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, consulting, audit or assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong report writing and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Passion for sustainability and ESG.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sustainability and ESG advisory engagements across a diverse client portfolio.
• Conduct ESG maturity assessments, gap analyses and benchmarking exercises.
• Assist clients in implementing sustainability frameworks, governance structures and ESG strategies.
• Prepare sustainability reports in accordance with Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Requirements, IFRS S1 & S2, GRI Standards and other applicable frameworks.
• Perform double materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Support greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory preparation and carbon footprint assessments.
• Conduct climate risk and opportunity assessments aligned with TCFD and IFRS S2.
• Develop ESG policies, procedures, KPIs and reporting dashboards.
• Support sustainability assurance and verification engagements.
• Perform research on emerging ESG regulations, reporting standards and market developments.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and reports for clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist in business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
