Job summary

Sandisk in Penang, Malaysia seeks an Advanced Equipment Maintenance & Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on backend production equipment. You will support manufacturing operations, dismantle and repair equipment, and work with Engineering on new installations.

The role requires a diploma/certificate in mechanical, electronics, or mechatronics, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/pneumatic issues along with PC hardware.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in mechanical, electronics or mechatronics.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic issues and PC hardware.
• Knowledge of PLC systems; experience with vision systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides Manufacturing and Equipment support in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment per schematics or specs.
• Performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment.
• Works with minimal supervision and adapts to changing priorities.
• Collaborates with Engineering on new equipment installations and improvement initiatives.
