Job summary

WD is seeking an Equipment Engineer to troubleshoot, install, qualify, modify and improve manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on automation, AI-based control, and integration of mechanical/electrical systems to enhance performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, install, qualify, modify, and improve equipment across manufacturing lines.
Develop and implement automation upgrades using AI and latest tech.
Prepare electrical drawings, wiring layouts, and software debugging for process equipment.
Integrate equipment modules to ensure stable operation.
Design and assemble mechanical/electrical components to improve performance.
Monitor process parameters to meet quality and performance targets.
Develop maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing procedures for components.
Perform equipment characterization and capability studies.
